Background

The BOP has determined that comprehensive medical services (CMS) are essential for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Morgantown, West Virginia. This justification outlines the need for these services and the rationale for selecting a single source provider, Seven Corners, Inc., to ensure continuity of care.

Work Details
The contract involves the continuation of community and institution-based comprehensive medical services provided by Seven Corners, Inc. The services include essential medical, dental, and mental health care for federal inmates. When institutional medical staff cannot meet a medical need, referrals to community-based providers are made. Services encompass both inpatient and outpatient facility and physician services.

Seven Corners has agreed to provide these services at previously established Medicare benchmark rates through monthly Firm Fixed Unit Pricing purchase orders until a new competitive contract can be awarded. This interim arrangement is crucial to prevent any disruption in medical care for inmates.
