FCI Ashland Comp Medical JOFOC August FY 2026

Background
The Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Prisons, specifically FCI Ashland, is seeking to provide comprehensive medical services to its inmate population as part of its mission. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuity of care while a new multi-year agreement is negotiated, following the expiration of the previous comprehensive medical contract.

Work Details
The services required include essential medical, dental, and mental health services for Federal inmates. When the institution's medical staff cannot meet a medical need, referrals will be made to community-based providers.

The specific services to be provided include:
- Inpatient/Outpatient Facility and Physician services;
- Outpatient Institution Services such as Mobile MRI, Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgeon, Mobile Ultrasound/Echo, General Surgeon, Physical Therapy, Psychiatry, Urologist, and Optometrist.

These services will be procured through purchase orders.

Period of Performance
The proposed performance period for this contract is from August 1, 2026, through August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at FCI Ashland.
