Background
The contract is issued by the Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminal (FAB-T) Office, part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HNSK) located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

The FAB-T Program aims to develop and deliver terminals that provide protected communications for both strategic and tactical warfighters. This contract action is a continuation of efforts to procure Command Post Terminals (CPTs) and Advanced Wideband Terminals (AWTs) to meet evolving operational requirements.

Work Details
The contract involves the production of FAB-T terminals, specifically:
- Command Post Terminals (CPTs) in ground-fixed, ground-transportable, and airborne configurations (E-4 & E-6).
- Advanced Wideband Terminals (AWTs) for platforms such as B-2, B-52, RC-135 aircraft, and RC-135 ground locations.

The production contracts will include both Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Contract Line Items (CLINs). Deliverables include:
- Planning documents and manufacturing readiness assessments.
- FFP option CLINs for terminals, associated spares, support equipment, training classes including computer-based training, flight test aircraft, technical manuals, sustainment data packages, data rights.
- CPFF option CLINs for ground installation, initial operational test support, airborne platform integration, and interim contractor support for hardware/software maintenance.

Period of Performance
The initial production readiness CLIN will have a period of performance proposed by the Offerors followed by an up to 10-year production effort if all options are exercised.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for delivery include various military bases where the terminals will be installed or utilized.
