DOC NIST - B24 UPS Maintenance and Repair, Boulder, CO - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of Commerce (DOC), is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for a project at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado. The primary goal of this project is to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at Building 24 on the NIST Boulder Campus. This initiative underscores NIST's commitment to maintaining reliable power systems critical for its operations.

The scope of work involves comprehensive maintenance services for a specific UPS model, Liebert EXS, model #53S30HCFR2000XX, which operates at 208V with a power capacity of 30kVA. Additionally, the maintenance will cover associated UPS battery cabinets equipped with VRLA batteries. The contractor will be responsible for conducting annual preventive maintenance services that include visual inspections, system testing, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.

All work will be carried out on-site at the specified location in Boulder, Colorado. The contractor will have full access to Building 24 throughout the contract's duration and will assume complete responsibility for supervising day-to-day operations related to this project. The period allocated for completing this project is set within 360 days from commencement.
