Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army and is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the applicable regulations. The goal of this contract is to procure a Utility Vehicle (UTV) that meets specific performance characteristics to support the Army's operational needs. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses, as indicated by the Total Small Business Set-Aside status.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 6 Utility Vehicles (UTVs) with the following salient characteristics:
- Enclosed cab with manual crank windows
- LED headlights and taillights
- Tow capacity of 1500 lbs
- Capacity to transport at least 4 passengers
- 4-person, dual-row, flip-up bench seats with 3-point safety belts
- Rear headache rack
- Liquid cooled and fuel injected engine with at least 44 HP
- Select on-demand drive system (AWD, 2WD, 4WD)
- Automatic transmission with H/L/N/R/P settings
- Box capable of supporting 500 lbs
- Assisted dump bed
- Full-body skid plate
- At least 11” ground clearance and 9” suspension travel both front and rear
- Electric steering with tilt adjustment
- Full coverage front bumper
- 4-wheel disc brakes
- Turning radius of no more than 16.3 ft
- Fuel capacity of at least 9.5 gallons
- Instrument panel consisting of speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator, clock, hour meter, and volt meter. New equipment only; no used or remanufactured products will be accepted.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small businesses as this solicitation is a Total Small Business Set Aside. Additionally, bidders must provide authorized distributor or OEM documentation for the UTV offered. All products must meet the specified salient characteristics to be considered for award.
