Description

The government intends to award a non-personal services contract to provide services supporting the Customer Engagement Center. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform customer engagement services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.

Background

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform customer engagement services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide customer engagement services as defined in the Performance Work Statement. This includes developing comprehensive procedures for phasing in contractor performance, staffing contracts, obtaining certifications and clearances for staff, conducting knowledge transfer and training plans from incumbent contractor staff/management, and developing a detailed phase-in plan.
Additionally, the contractor is responsible for supporting phase-out activities necessary to transition when the contract reaches the end of its performance period. The contractor shall also provide trained employees who are able to work independently within the specified period of performance and have two years minimum experience working with the Department of Defense and/or the Army.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract includes a phase-in period of 30 days for full support of operations under contractor-provided labor and existing government-provided technologies. For newly provided contractor technologies, the contractor and government shall agree upon a phased transition plan for implementation.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for this contract is within BUILDINGS. The contractor will be provided cubical space for use by the contractor’s management staff. Additionally, Fort Knox Military Police (MPs) will provide law enforcement on Fort Knox.
