Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for the CLC and Fourth Floor Patient Elopement Upgrade at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. The mission of this project is to enhance patient safety through the installation of upgraded elopement technology, which integrates fall detection and nurse call systems. This procurement is specifically set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace the existing Stanley WanderGuard system with an upgraded patient elopement technology. The new system must include integrated technologies such as fall detection and nurse call on a single portable platform worn by patients. Specific requirements include:

- Server Configuration: Virtualization of VHA IT-approved server software on the facility's server, with communication over the hospital's Local Area Network (LAN).

- Staff Alert Panels: Installation of analog backup systems for alerts.

- Door Management Systems: Upgrading doors to a single model elopement management system.

- Remote Support: Providing remote support access software and maintenance agreements.

- Patient Devices: Supply of adult wander management bands with a 20% overflow for charging.
