The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) requires a airborne reconnaissance, surveillance and tracking capability to enhance situational awareness for field commanders and agents in areas that lack nearby traditional surveillance systems or available manned air support. Manned air support requests are frequently delayed or unavailable, increasing risk to agents and inhibiting threat mitigation.
This requirement is for the procurement of 12 mobile generators and ancillary equipment and parts to replace the current generators which have reached end of life.
