The Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) Tactical Systems Integration and Interoperability Division, Code 535, has developed the Data Link Test Tools (DLTT) equipment, Gateway Systems (GS) and Mini Rack equipment to support the operation of the Systems Integration Facility (SIF) and the Combined Test Bed (CTB). The DLTT equipment and GS along with the Mini Rack equipment support the development, integration, and implementation of Tactical Digital Link (TDL) on Platform and sites. The DLTT and GS are also used in performing interoperability testing across numerous Land Based Test sites. The DLTT and GS also are employed in support of the following sites and systems: Joint Interoperability Testing (JIT); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) data links; Surveillance and Command and Control (C2) systems; Missile Defense System Exerciser (MDSE); other non-Navy U.S. Services; Foreign Governments; and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces involved to support TDL integration and testing. The DLTT, GS and Mini Rack allow interoperability testing using any combination of real and simulated Combat systems and establishing virtual TDL environments. The DLTT and Gateway Systems have been used as basis for TDL platform integration for US and Foreign Governments.
