Description

Provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for various projects within the Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22), covering facilities in Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern California. These services will encompass the development of scopes, planning, concept development, interior design, environmental and feasibility studies, and program analysis. Additionally, the work will include design reviews, value engineering, consulting, and construction management for new buildings, building additions, renovations, and other real property alterations.
The scope of work will also involve master planning and medical planning, preparation of designs, plans, drawings, life-cycle cost analysis, and construction cost estimates. Contractors will be responsible for project specifications, fact-finding studies, surveys, and investigations, including hazardous materials management such as asbestos abatement. The work may also include other professional A/E services not directly linked to a specific construction project, as well as supervision and inspections of ongoing construction projects.
The aim is to ensure that all facilities within the VISN 22 region are designed and maintained to meet the highest standards of functionality and safety, providing optimal environments for veterans' care and services. The projects will vary in size and complexity, requiring a diverse range of expertise and capabilities from the contracted firms.
