Description

Provide comprehensive architect-engineer services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) across the United States and its territories. The work involves the development of complete construction documents, including working drawings, specifications, reports, and construction period services for various projects at VA medical facilities. The architect-engineer (A-E) firm will be responsible for investigating existing conditions, preparing design documents during the schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
Provide construction period services when required, which include procurement support for pre-bid site visits during design-bid-build or design-build procurements. The A-E firm will also handle Request for Information (RFI) responses, submittal reviews, scheduling review, site inspections, testing oversight, modification definition and development, and final inspections. These services ensure that the construction projects are executed smoothly and meet the required standards.
Provide support for all facets of work and disciplines/trades necessary to facilitate construction projects. The A-E firm will deliver investigative and feasibility design services, schematic design drawings, design development drawings, construction documents, final bid documents, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, narratives, bidding support services, and solicitation support services. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of the construction projects are thoroughly planned and executed.
