Description

Support Mobile District's the Military Design and Construction Program for the design of facilities and infrastructure for construction, meeting the definition of AE Services as defined in 40 U.S.C. 1101 and FAR 2.101. The selected firms must have the capability using in-house staff or consultants to provide timely and cost effective responses to support the Military Design and Construction Program to include but not limited to: engineering studies, investigations, tests, evaluations, consultations, comprehensive planning, drawing reviews, renovation/repair projects, such as, building renovations and additions, new construction, master and sub-area development planning, preparation of project definition and programming documents, charrettes, preparation of the technical portions of design-build solicitations, value engineering studies, environmental permit applications, facility condition assessments, and the development of construction plans and specifications for new vertical construction projects. Mobile District's Military Design and Construction Program supports various stakeholders to include the Army, Air Force, Navy, Special Operations Command, Defense Health Programs and other DOD programs and agencies.

The vast majority of the work will be on military installations, however work may also include a variety of projects under the Interagency/International Services (IIS) program.
