Description

The Ultra Lightweight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS) Increment I program will develop new Arctic and Urban ULCANS variants and system upgrades to the existing Woodland and Desert ULCANS variants for defeating current and emerging sensor threats addressed by the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) concerns on emerging foreign sensor capability. ULCANS must continue to provide the warfighter with capabilities for increased survivability and multi-spectral signature suppression to counter visual, near-infrared, shortwave infrared and radar threats, and thermal signature suppression.
