Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization (SRM) Alaska

IDIQ

Description

Provide design-build and design-bid-build construction services for facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization across various locations in Alaska. The work includes new construction, repairs, incidental demolition, facility and system maintenance, and infrastructure improvements. Contractors will be responsible for tasks such as constructing and upgrading facilities, industrial buildings, and utilities, as well as handling environmental work including hazardous material testing and disposal.
Efforts may involve working on military installations and bases, requiring expertise in remote site logistics and transportation in extreme environmental conditions, including areas north of the Arctic Circle and the Aleutian Islands. The work will also include site improvements like fencing, roads, parking, airfield paving, and drainage, along with maintenance of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Most projects are anticipated to occur at locations such as Fort Wainwright, Eielson Air Force Base, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Fort Greely, Clear Space Force Station, Eareckson Air Station, NOAA Gilmore Creek Site, and Kodiak Island. The contract will support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' efforts to maintain and modernize facilities in these regions, ensuring they meet current and future operational needs.
