Remediation of Radiological Contaminants EMAC II (RADMAC II)

Provide Environmental Remediation Services of Radiological Contaminants at various locations in the NAVFAC SW and NAVFAC Atlantic (LANT) areas of responsibility. Sites will consist of those ranked on the Superfund National Priority List (NPL) as well as non-NPL sites regulated under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Underground Storage Tanks (UST), and other sites, which might require investigative or remedial action. Federal and State regulations, federal guidance and consensus documents (Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigations Manual (MARSSIM) and Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Assessment of Materials and Equipment Manual (MARSAME), and state-of-the-art health physic practices will be followed where appropriate.
