Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Global Program Generation V (PPV-G GEN V)

Provide worldwide pharmaceutical support to the Defense Health Agency, Department of Defense customers, United States Coast Guard, Designated Providers, Other Government Agencies, and the US Naval Fleet, including the Hospital Ships USNS Mercy and USNS Comfort. The Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor is tasked with supporting both routine operations and contingency situations, ensuring readiness for both planned and unplanned events across Continental United States and Outside the Continental United States locations.
The program aims to make multiple Primary Supplier awards across various regions, including North/EUCOM, West/PACOM, South/SOUTHCOM, and Fleet (CONUS/OCONUS), with an additional Back-Up supplier for all regions. This approach ensures that no single supplier monopolizes the pharmaceutical requirements of the Military Services, thereby enhancing the Department of Defense's resilience and access to essential pharmaceuticals during emergencies or natural disasters. Contractors awarded under this program are responsible for providing pharmaceutical products according to specified requirements, covering medical pharmaceuticals in the 6505 stock catalog and the National Drug Code database.
