Support the Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) with Deconversion services to meet Departmental programmatic needs related to the research, development, and demonstration of advanced-reactor technologies, and to support industry demand. The vehicle involves providing deconversion services for High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) in the form of uranium hexafluoride (UF6). Contractors are responsible for transporting HALEU UF6 from enrichment to deconversion sites, converting UF6 to metal, oxide, or other forms suitable for fuel fabrication, and providing temporary storage within the continental U.S.
