ARDEC Weapons Research Technical, Design and Support Services

Provide noncommercial Weapons Research, Design, and Support Services in the three areas below:
a. Weapons Research Technical Support: The weapons research, design prove out and support services procured as a result of this effort will directly support the mission of ARDEC by assisting the project management teams with services in support of strategically planned technology and weapon system projects. The support shall utilize a highly competent and experienced staff familiar with all aspects of armament design engineering, manufacturing and production technologies, various test methodologies, state of the art engineering, design, development, automation, and quality assurance technologies and processes and engineering materials, equipment, techniques and procedures.

b. Design Support: The design support shall design and build specialized test hardware and equipment and special assembly equipment to be used for the design and modeling of the various hardware. The support shall utilize any and all appropriate techniques required for the development of this hardware.

c. Support Services: The administrative support shall provide administrative assistance to include program communications and conference arrangements, schedule activities, and maintain calendars. Prepare security clearances, program documentation requests,
travel claims, and visitor passes and manage action items from staff meetings. Participate in formal and informal work groups to plan for, support, or execute special work projects or events. Technical writing and publishing is required for Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, and Interactive Technical Manuals.
