Description

Support both water and land testing of amphibious and ground combat vehicles at Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Pendleton, CA and other locations as required. In addition, the contractor will be required to support amphibious combat vehicle water training events in support of the Training and Education Command (TECOM) on a sporadic, non-interference basis as provided in any task order issued under the MATOC. The Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch (AVTB) also requires the contractor to support any other testing of systems and equipment. Testing requires laboratory technicians, media specialists, financial analysts, administrative analysts, data collectors, engineer support, scuba divers and certified dive training, first responders (Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics (Medics)), boat, communications, and heavy equipment operators, and maintainers to support personnel and assets organic to AVTB.

These personnel will play a vital role in different components and efforts that make up each mission requirement. The government-furnished assets (watercraft and vehicles) will be used to support multiple test/mission support activities. These activities shall include, but are not limited to, command and control, water/land mobility, surf transitions, amphibious shipping, riverine operations, water/land recovery, water/land towing, demonstration, and safety driven events. The contractor will provide a team of highly qualified personnel to support all designated waterborne and land activities that fall under the responsibility of AVTB.
