The Subcontractor, Heritage Construction, agrees to furnish all labor, material, equipment, fuel, incidentals, management and supervision necessary to complete the Demolition and General Construction Work, and related portion(s) of the work specified below on Contract W912HN-11-D-0043-0026, Boykin Contracting Job #90026: Renovate Offices & Shops, A & C Wings, Bldg 3-1634, Fort Bragg, NC. All work shall comply with the latest edition of the United Facility Guide Specification (UFGS), International Building Code, NFPA 101, Fort Bragg Installation Information Infrastructure (I3A) Design Guide, Fort Bragg Installation Design Guidance (IDG) and UFC 3-600-1 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities. In addition all work shall comply with local, state and federal regulations. Supply all equipment, labor and material for A Wing General Construction work to include: Demolition Remove existing acoustical ceiling suspension system and tiles. Acoustical ceiling to remain in room adjacent to Break Room. Remove wood doors and frames as shown on plans. Demo existing CMU and partition walls as shown on plans. Remove metal platforms and bracing from existing column in Real Property area. Remove existing wood chair rail and wood baseboard. Chair rail to remain in Division Chief s office. Remove wall covering as needed to install new GWB laminate. Remove existing carpet and rubber base. Carpet and base to remain in room adjacent to Break Room. Remove toilet partitions, urinal screens and toilet accessories. Demo existing vanity and cabinetry in restroom. Cabinet and sink outside of restroom to remain. Demo existing cabinetry in Break Room. New Work Furr out existing exterior walls with 3-5/8 studs, vapor barrier, 3.5 R-11 insulation and 5/8 GWB to underside of decking. GWB to be Level 4 finish. Build new walls with 3-5/8 studs, 3.5 R-11 insulation and 5/8 GWB both sides to 10 AFF. GWB to be Level 4 finish. Furr out remaining interior CMU walls and column with 3-5/8 studs and 5/8 GWB to 10 AFF. Moisture resistant GWB to be used in latrines and at wet wall in Break Room. GWB to be Level 4 finish. Install 5/8 fire-resistant GWB over existing plywood at four (4) offices in Real Property area. Install new acoustical ceiling grid and tiles throughout to 9 AFF. Moisture resistant tiles to be installed in latrines. Acoustical ceiling to remain as is in room adjacent to Break Room. Install new wood doors, hardware and hollow metal frames as indicated on plans. In Break Room, replace threshold and weatherstripping at exterior door. Adjust remaining interior doors to ensure proper function. Install new VCT over existing VCT and sheet vinyl flooring in Break Room, latrines, storage room and corridor. Provide transition strips at doorways. Seal concrete floor in mechanical room. Install 4 cove base at all GWB walls. Prep, prime and paint all GWB surfaces to 9 AFF, door frames, interior windows and interior side of exterior doors. Install new toilet accessories (2) each: single roll toilet tissue dispensers, liquid soap dispensers, 36 x 24 mirrors, surface mounted paper towel dispenser, 42 grab bars, 36 grab bars, robe hooks. Install wall and base cabinets with countertop. Corner cabinet to have a lazy Susan. Patch rooftop openings for new bathroom exhaust. Provide final cleaning of construction area to include stripping and waxing of VCT floors.
