Section a: scope of work the special provisions contained herein are in addition to the terms and conditions listed in the standard subcontract agreement. The items listed below are project specific and outline the general scope of work for this agreement. The purpose of the special provisions is to identify the scope of work for this subcontract agreement, but is not meant to be an all inclusive listing of the requirements of this agreement. I. The work the work to be performed under this agreement includes the furnishing of all necessary labor, supervision, materials, transportation, protection, storage, engineering, shoring, tools, equipment, insurance, taxes and all other items required to furnish and install a complete system for all high-security chain link fences and gates as outlined in the scope of work required for the base infrastructure phase 2, shaw AFB, sumter, S.C. It is understood that this fencing and gates package is complete in every respect and the work described throughout this section and this agreement maybe interchangeable with subsections outlined herein. All work shall be in strict accordance with all federal, state and local codes and ordinances and shall comply with all applicable OSHA requirements. Specification section division references for the specific work included in this agreement are: a. All division 0 & 1 general requirement C. Division 32 exterior improvments 32 31 13.53 high-security chain link fences and gates note: all applicable contract documents form a part of this subcontract and shall be considered whether listed above or not II work scope of the agreement a. Division 32 exterior improvements 1. The work a. All required on-site & off-site preparation work, layout, surveying, excavation to install domestically produced chain link fencing, with 3 strands of barbwire and gates. Fence to be constructed using materials meeting the requirements of the specifications. The fence shall have a top and bottom tension wire with mid rail brace at corners and ends, and truss rod bracing. This work includes one, 64 cantilever slide gate and one 30 cantilever slide gate. The work will include the supplying and installation of all accessories and concrete and back-filling, restoration and general requirements, all in complete accordance with the contract documents (I.E. Plans, drawings, sketches, and specifications). B. Bid option #1 the deduction of approximately 900 feet of fencing as described above. C. Bid option #3 the addition of approximately 2700 of fencing as described above with the addition of a 6 barbed wire assembly and one 26 double swing gate. D. All workers shall comply with latest edition of OSHA standards. 2. Tolerances the finished dimensions and elevations of all areas of this agreement will be installed to meet the requirements of the contract documents and shall be within one inch plus or minus. 3. Field engineering and layout a. All engineering and layout required in the performance of this subcontract shall be provided by this subcontractor including engineering for as built drawings. B. Subcontractor is responsible for providing all on-site and off-site field engineering and installation of grade stakes to achieve all finished dimensions and elevations of the work of this agreement. C. This subcontractor will maintain and provide a complete as-builts for this scope of work and the as-builts shall be turned over to J2 engineering. 4. Coordination coordinate with the site sub contractor for the installation of their work which will be affected by this subcontractors work, and for all points of intersection. 5.
