The purpose of this modification is to award F-35A lrip 15 USAF aircraft long lead funding. This effort includes procurement of long lead-time materials, parts, components, and associated work necessary for the production and delivery of F-35A aircraft, including assemblies such as bulkheads, harnesses, fuel system components, fairings, longerons, and avionics modules. Work also covers integration of specialized systems and subassemblies for international partners, such as the Netherlands and Italy, supporting production requirements for multiple lots and customers. Additional tasks involve fabrication and supply of structural elements, electrical harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and mission-critical avionics hardware for the F-35A platform.
