Original Description
Ksa FMS Army Navy transportable radar surveillance and control model 2 (AN/TPY-2) production. Includes production of seven AN/TPY-2 radars, radar spares, obsolescence design, sustainment services, initial contractor logistics support, long lead hardware procurement and manufacturing, systems engineering, program management, obsolescence and reliability updates, maintenance planning, facility design support, country support, and common software development. Additional tasks involve the manufacture and integration of components such as cable assemblies (rf and mechanical), wire cables, connectors, amplifiers, phase shifters, filters/multiplexers, power supplies, precision machined and welded assemblies, sheet metal parts, printed wiring boards (PWBS), backplanes, magnetics, transistors, semiconductors, computer hardware and software, test equipment, and mechanical items. The effort includes engineering services, technical support, and the development and testing of specialized electronic and mechanical subsystems.
