Involved in all software development lifecycle tasks to include, but not limited to:
-interface with clients to understand business requirements and objectives
-translate clients' business requirements and objectives into technical applications and solutions
-design and develop code, delivering high availability and performance
-provide innovative solutions to complex business problems
-contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
-write well-designed, testable, efficient code
-ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
-prepare and produce releases of software components
-support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
-provide input with regards to improvements or areas of concern within the system
