Sub Description
Task 1: Receive and review materials about the NPSD - Truven Health will have no hours allocated to this task. Task 2: Analyze non-identifiable PSO data - For this task, Truven Health will prepare to receive event-level data and consult with the PPC on variability analysis for non-identifiable events. In collaboration with Stanford University, Truven Health will review, revise or develop new table layouts for aggregated data, and design analytic plans for event level analyses (estimated 500 tables). Truven Health will review dissemination strategy, draft recommendations for changes to the AHRQ Common Formats based on analyses. Truven Health will participate in one hour internal weekly calls and additional calls as required. Task 3: Analyze data on trends in patient safety events and patterns of health care error - For this task, Truven Health will design analytic plan for Task 3, develop 160 provider tables, develop graphics for tables, and create bullet text for 160 tables. Truven Health will develop trends from existing external patient safety data, such as the HCUP databases, OASIS, MDS, NSQUIP, or QSRS. For these sources, they will develop approximately 70 tables, with bullets. Truven Health will develop multivariate trends analyses and create bulleted text for tables. Truven Health will review tables, graphics and bullets created by other subcontractor(s). Task 4: Report on patient safety events in the National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Reports - For this task Truven Health will lead work efforts, as stated above, including analyses, presenting findings to the Interagency Work Group as requested, and conduct further dissemination as agreed upon with Stanford and AHRQ. Task 5: Monitor effective strategies for reducing medical errors and increasing patient safety - For this task, Truven Health will consult on the work plan and review work materials. Task 6: Disseminate findings from analyses - For this task Truven Health will create the dissemination plan. Truven Health will provide two individuals to attend the PSO Annual Meeting, and create 2 educational briefs. Task 7: Administer Task Order - The contractor shall deliver a monthly progress report to the Stanford. Optional Task 8: Assess feasibility of the creation of an interactive evidence-based management resource for Network of Patient Safety Databases - For this task, Truven Health will lead all work described above and create the final feasibility report. Optional Task 9: Analyze non-identifiable PSO data Produce additional tables and bullet results - Optional Task 9a: Analyze non-identifiable PSO data Produce 500 additional tables and bullet results. Period of Performance: 6 months. This Optional Task will be awarded on a Time and Materials basis to produce 500 additional tables and bulleted results. Optional Task 9b: Analyze non-identifiable PSO data Produce 750 additional tables and bullet results. Period of Performance: 6 months. This Optional Task will be awarded on a Time and Materials basis to produce 750 additional tables and bulleted results. Optional Task 9c: Analyze non-identifiable PSO data Produce 1000 additional tables and bullet results Period of Performance: 6 months. This Optional Task will be awarded on a Time and Materials basis to produce 1000 additional tables and bulleted results. For each of the Option 9a-9c, Truven Health will create 50% of the tables and associated documentation.
