FUSION SPORT WILL DEVELOP READ-OPTIMIZED DATA STORAGE SUCH AS SERVER-SIDE CACHING FUNCTIONALITY WHEREBY
DASHBOARDS CAN BE GENERATED OVER NIGHT AT A TIME OF LIMITED SYSTEM USE SUCH AS MIDNIGHT IN THE LOCAL TIME ZONE.
THIS WILL PRE-GENERATE THE DATA NEEDED BY THE DASHBOARD AND REDUCE EXPECTED LOADING TIMES BY 90% FROM OUR
ANALYSIS AS THIS PROCESSING CAN BE SKIPPED.
THE TASKS INVOLVED IN DEVELOPING THIS FUNCTIONALITY INCLUDE SETTING UP STORAGE SOLUTIONS FOR THE READ-OPTIMIZED/CACHED
DASHBOARD DATA, CREATING NEW BACKGROUND JOB FUNCTIONALITY TO GENERATE THE CACHES ON A SCHEDULE AND POTENTIALLY UI
IMPROVEMENTS TO CONFIGURE THE NEW FUNCTIONALITY.
FUSION SPORT WILL DEVELOP NEW FUNCTIONALITY TO CALCULATE GROUP AGGREGATIONS AND GROUP CALCULATIONS IN THE DASHBOARD
BUILDER. THIS INCLUDES RANKS, PERCENTILES, NORMALIZING, MEAN, STANDARD DEVIATION AND Z SCORES.
THESE VALUES WILL BE ABLE TO USED IN FURTHER CALCULATIONS IN THE DASHBOARD BUILDER ALONGSIDE NEW FUNCTIONALITY TO
PERFORM CALCULATIONS BASED ON EXISTING TILES IN THE DASHBOARD SUCH AS SUM, MULTIPLY, SUBTRACT, DIFF, DIFF % AND
PERCENTAGE OF.
WE WILL ALSO DEVELOP NEW FUNCTIONALITY SO AN ATHLETE/OPERATOR LOGGING IN CAN BE COMPARED AGAINST ANOTHER GROUP OF
INDIVIDUALS FOR THESE CALCULATIONS WITHOUT EXPOSING PII. THIS FUNCTIONALITY WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN A DIFFERENT WAY THAN
JUST RELYING ON SMARTABASE GROUPS BECAUSE THAT WILL BE TOO RESTRICTIVE. FOR EXAMPLE, IT WILL BE COMMON TO COMPARE
SUBGROUPS OF PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE STRICT GROUP STRUCTURE OF SMARTABASE. AN EXAMPLE WOULD BE A SPECIFIC POSITION ROLE
ACROSS ALL GROUPS WHEN CREATING A LEADERBOARD. WE WILL ACHIEVE THIS WITH A DYNAMIC GROUP STRUCTURE OR COHORT THAT S
BASED ON DEFINED RULES. IT CAN MATCH THE SMARTABASE GROUP STRUCTURE IF DESIRED BUT IT WILL BE MUCH MORE FLEXIBLE
THAN THAT.
FUSION SPORT WILL DEVELOP NEW FUNCTIONALITY TO EXPOSE WHO, WHEN AND WHAT CHANGES WERE MADE TO A FORM OR
DASHBOARD.
THIS WILL INCLUDE THE USERNAME AND TIME OF CHANGE FOR AUDITING PURPOSES AND WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE USER INTERFACE.
FUSION SPORT WILL DO DISCOVERY WORK ON WAYS TO ALLOW PRACTITIONERS/COACHES TO REQUEST ACCESS TO OPERATORS DATA IN
AN AUTOMATED WAY IN THE SMARTABASE USER INTERFACE.
A POSSIBLE APPROACH IS A NEW MODULE THAT PERFORMS THE REQUEST AND NOTIFIES OR ALERTS ADMINISTRATORS TO GRANT THE
REQUEST RATHER THAN REQUIRING PRACTITIONERS TO DO THIS REQUEST MANUALLY THROUGH OTHER COMMUNICATION MEANS.
IF THE ADMINISTRATOR APPROVES THE REQUEST, THERE IS FURTHER AUTOMATION TO ASSIGN THE APPROPRIATE SMARTABASE
PERMISSIONS AUTOMATICALLY AS WELL.
PERFORMING THESE ACTIONS IN THE SMARTABASE USER INTERFACE ALSO CREATES AN AUDIT TRAIL SO ALL CHANGES CAN BE TRACKED.
PENDING VIABLE DISCOVERY A NEW DEVELOPMENT TIMELINE WOULD BE PROPOSED.
FUSION SPORT WILL DO DISCOVERY WORK TO IDENTIFY THE OPTIMAL SYSTEMS WE COULD CONNECT WITH TO AUTOMATE THESE MANUAL
PROCESSES AND REDUCE HUMAN ERROR.
WE WILL DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING INTEGRATIONS WITH THESE SYSTEMS BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE INTEGRATING
WITH OVER 100 WEARABLES PROVIDERS AT THE TIME OF WRITING.
