Overview

Sub Description
Swanirvar is implementing program through 52 static clinics and 1,768 satellite clinics by utilizing 183 paramedics. Their contribution is maximum in both customer contact & revenue. It is not unlike that 1 or 2 paramedics are in maternal leave in each or alternate month. To meet up this crisis swanirvar will continue 5 additional paramedics at daulatkhan, delduar, feni, kuliarchar and islampur clinics. Those paramedics will work to conduct additional satellite sessions, as back-up support of other teams in some cases- where number of customer is more both at static and satellite clinics, during epi sessions, and other special campaign of program in the clinic. Also she will work to other clinic in deputation to face maternity leave of other paramedic as per need. Besides when a paramedic will go for training (7-14 days, varies on different types of training), this additional paramedic will work in that clinic during this training period and can contribute in revenue generation of that clinic. We are implementing the program with double bottom line approach that is expected approximate 39% (including hq costs) cost recovery for the network as well as to serve the pops and poors, barriers are not common for all clinics, it varies from clinic to clinic depending on geographical location and socio-economic status of individual clinics catchment population. To overcome geographical hazards of its network and socio-economic condition of catchment population, swanirvar has taken the strategy to serve all types of customers irrespective of pop, poor, able to pay, that is no one will leave without service under this strategy, there is provision for pop to get service free and reduction of service charge to some extent for the poor customers. Swanirvar will search for fund from local community/zakat to compensate the cost of service for pop & poor. So it is needed to give more emphasis on promotional activities & customer care. Swanirvar will implement community participatory marketing and promotional plan to increase promotion of surjer hashi clinic and its services. Plan will prepare in consideration of competitors. In marketing and promotional policy, swanirvar will give emphasis to address community involvement so that members of surjer hashi health group and LOI can be utilized to promotional activities (group meeting such as eligible couples, male meeting, anc, lapm potential customer, pop customer & adolescent etc). Swanirvar will participate and organize rally/road show in collaboration with gob and other partners in the working area as well take part in different fair/exhibition in observance of different days or local culture and heritage to promote clinic and its services. Counselor, service promoter, paramedics will continue follow up patients condition as well as due date of visit over telephone. Swanirvar will take active participation in national and international day observation. Clinic wise detail plan listed in clinic business plan. Swanirvar will also establish a follow up system for anc, pnc mothers, epi, family planning, lapm and other customers over telephone at all of its clinic. During phone call clinic staff (paramedic, service promoter) will ask about the present health status, follow up visit date, necessity of any suggestion etc. These initiatives will help in improving customer satisfaction with a marginal investment.
