Original Description
Afs will achieve efficiency and sustainability of the HIV/AIDS response by strengthening capacities for generating, analyzing, and using HIV/AIDS financing and related health program data, as well as aligning this data to country systems, to inform policy and planning. Includes generating HIV economic and financing data evidence to inform how to mobilize, align, and optimize donor, public, and private resources for sustainable HIV/AIDS funding. Activities focus on strengthening strategic alignment and accountability across resources to maximize efficiency, impact, and sustainability, and leading Activity-Based Costing and Management (ABC/M) activities in one or more countries. The project also participates in the technical development of methods and tools, and leads or supports analytics and implementation activities to build country capacity for using costing data in planning and health financing.
