Sub Description
Mechanical contractor- subcontractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, lifting equipment, scaffolding, tools, supervision, supplies, and other things necessary for the construction and completion of the following described work, and all work incidental thereto, irrespective of whether the work hereby sublet is covered by one or more headings of the specifications, it being the intention of the parties that all work usually performed by the trades covered by this subcontract be performed by subcontractor. The work is to be completed as described in contract plans and specifications as referenced in exhibit B of the subcontract. In addition to the descriptions in the contract documents, the following is a general outline of this subcontractor S scope of work and is not intended to represent the entire and complete scope of work: divison 23 mechanical/ controls / sprinklers- in a phased approach provide mechanical demolition as noted on the project plans and specifications.
- note any required decontamination of existing ductwork prior to demolition to be completed by others.
- in a phased approach provide and install the mechanical new work as noted on the project plans and specifications.
- furnish and install qty 2 new supply air diffusers as shown on the plans.
- provide and install new ductwork as shown on the plans.
- note ductwork will be brought to the site in sections that will fit within the existing freight elevator.
- provide on-site ductwork welding as required.
- note on-site ductwork weld testing is excluded (none specified). Furnish and install qty 2 new return air diffusers as shown on the plans.
- furnish and install new supply air flex duct that is to tie into the existing supply air main ductwork as shown on the plans.
- furnish and install new insulation for the newly provided and installed ductwork as specified. Provide 1 inch fiberglass duct wrap with vapor barrier as specified.
- provide services to relocate qty 1 existing space thermostat to be located in office G094. Note: the existing space thermostat is assumed to be in good working condition, if a new space thermostat is required additional costs will apply.
- provide controls labor to checkout the space thermostat and existing terminal box controller. Note existing terminal box controller assumed to be in good working condition, if a new controller is required additional costs will apply.
- relocate up to qty 2 existing sprinkler heads up to 4 feet away from their current location.
- provide pre and post tab labor.
- all work to be performed during regular working hours, monday friday, unless otherwise noted.
- all ceilings, ceiling tiles and grids to ME removed by others prior to performing work.
