One (1) New Recycling Vacuum & High Pressure Water Jet Truck 66K GVWR for the Street and Alley Division

Background
The City of Cheyenne is seeking bids for one new Recycling Vacuum & High Pressure Water Jet Truck with a 66,000 lb GVWR for the Street and Alley Division. This truck will be utilized for high-pressure water jetting of sewer pipes, which is essential for maintaining the city's infrastructure. The goal of this contract is to procure a reliable and efficient vehicle that meets the specified requirements to enhance the city's operational capabilities.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of a complete unit ready for operation, which encompasses:
- Truck cab/chassis
- Fresh water and debris tank(s)
- Hoist
- Vacuum system
- Hydraulically driven vacuum and high-pressure water hose reels
- Hydraulic hose boom
- Jet pump
- Recycling system
- Hydraulic system
- System controls and light package.

The equipment must comply with all current State and Federal safety regulations, be new and of the latest model in production, and include all necessary components for safe operation. Specific requirements include a Cummins X-15 engine or equivalent, a minimum 500 HP output, various hydraulic systems, tanks with specific capacities, and multiple operational features such as a wireless remote control system.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will begin upon issuance of the purchase order estimated on February 24, 2026, following City Council approval on February 23, 2026.

Place of Performance
The vehicle will be delivered to the City Fleet Maintenance shop located at 2731 Old Happy Jack Road, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 8, 2026. They are required to provide warranties from the original equipment manufacturer covering various components for specified durations. Bidders must also ensure that all manuals and necessary equipment for operation are provided at delivery. The City of Cheyenne is tax-exempt.
