WVU Coworking Facility (Ascend WV) Phase II

Background
West Virginia University (WVU), on behalf of its Board of Governors, is initiating a Request for Bids (RFB) for the renovation of the basement of the Ascend WV building located in Downtown Morgantown, West Virginia.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility to better serve community needs by creating meeting spaces, collaboration areas, and improved storage for recreational equipment.

Work Details
The project involves Phase II renovations of the basement, which will include:
- Construction of meeting space
- Creation of community collaboration space
- Installation of a restroom
- Improvement of storage space specifically designed for recreational equipment such as bikes and kayaks.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to achieve Substantial Completion within 3 months after the Notice to Proceed is issued.
Final Completion is expected two weeks after Substantial Completion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Ascend WV building located in Downtown Morgantown, West Virginia.
