Description

Qualification and Price Proposals are requested from interested parties for access control equipment for the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA). A Committee (hereinafter after referred to as the Committee ) representing the County Commission will be evaluating submissions to this request and will ultimately recommend a firm judged to be both responsible and responsive to the request in every way, including having offered the most beneficial, appropriate price proposals. Background
The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA) is seeking Qualification and Price Proposals for access control equipment.
The County Commission of Berkeley County, West Virginia, will evaluate submissions and recommend a firm based on responsibility, responsiveness, and price proposals.
The goal is to enhance security through the installation of access control systems.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of various access control equipment as specified in the attached specification sheet.
Key items include:
1. Electrified Door Strikes:
- HES 1006CS Electric Strikes (Quantity: 26) - Fail-secure/fail-safe configurable, UL 294 and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 compliant.
- HES 9400 Strikes (Quantity: 13) - Designed for narrow-frame glass storefronts, adjustable keeper options.
2. Proximity Card Readers:
- HID Prox ThinLine II Wall Switch Reader (Part Number: 5395CK100, Quantity: 43).
3. Door Contacts:
- GRI 8080-T-W (Color: White, Quantity: 39).
4. Access Control Door Controllers:
- Kantech KT4 Door Controllers (Quantity: 11) - Must support TCP/IP networking and encrypted communication.
5. Power Supplies:
- UL294 listed power supplies (Quantity: 3) - Configurable for 12VDC or 24VDC.
6. Access Control Cabling:
- GENESIS 2195-50-99 PRO FUSION cable (Quantity: 15 spools of 500 ft each).

Period of Performance
The successful bidder must arrange delivery of all equipment within one hundred eighty (180) days of bid award.

Place of Performance
Delivery of equipment will be made to 400 W Stephen St., Suite 301, Martinsburg, WV, 25401.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to conduct business in West Virginia and certify that they employ only U.S. citizens or legal residents.
Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and must provide proof of minimum insurance requirements as detailed in the solicitation.
