Background
The West Virginia Department of Homeland Security - Division of Administrative Services (DAS) is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR) for the J.M. Chick Buckbee Juvenile Center located at 114 Jerry Lane, Augusta, WV 26704.
The goal of this contract is to establish an open-ended agreement for providing resident haircut services to the juvenile center.
Work Details
The vendor will provide Resident Haircut services with a minimum frequency of one (1) time every month, coordinating with the Facility Counseling Staff. The estimated quantity is twenty-five (25) haircuts per month.
The vendor must provide their own tools and be capable of cutting all hair types, including male and female hair. After each service, the vendor is required to clean up and sanitize the area. Haircuts must be performed within the hours of 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Additionally, all work must comply with West Virginia Division of Correction protocols for operational facilities, and vendors must pass a background check.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for an initial term of one year with four one-year renewal options available upon mutual agreement between the vendor and agency.
