Removal & Installation of Culvert at Warehouse

Background
The West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration (WVABCA) is seeking bids for the removal and installation of a new culvert at their warehouse located at 97 Independent Ave, Nitro, WV.
The goal of this contract is to ensure proper drainage and functionality of the culvert system to support the agency's operations.

Work Details
The Vendor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the Construction Services, which include:
1. Removal of the existing culvert and pavement above it (5’ wide).
2. Installation of a new 30” x 60’ corrugated double-walled plastic culvert, including:
- Packing clay, soil, gravel, and stone.
- Forming and pouring catch basins.
- Reseating gate fence post.
- Backfilling with soil and compacting layers with clay, stone, and asphalt to match existing conditions.
3. Electrical conduit replacement involving approximately 120’ of new 2” schedule 40 PVC conduit with necessary fittings.
4. Final cleanup activities including removal of all equipment and debris from the worksite prior to final inspection.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within 10 consecutive working days from project commencement, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the WVABCA warehouse located at 97 Independent Ave, Nitro, WV.

Bidder Requirements
The Vendor must possess a valid contractor’s license and procure all necessary permits to comply with applicable Federal, State, or local laws.
Additionally, vendors must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
