Background
The State of West Virginia is seeking to establish a contract for preventative maintenance on card access systems. This contract aims to ensure the security and functionality of access control systems utilized by various state agencies, thereby supporting the overall mission of maintaining safety and security within state facilities.

Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventative maintenance services for card access systems. This includes regular inspections, testing, and repairs as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Specific tasks may include:
- Routine checks of all card access hardware and software components.
- Replacement of faulty components identified during inspections.
- Software updates and troubleshooting issues related to system functionality.
- Documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs made.
- Emergency response services for system failures outside of regular maintenance schedules.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will commence upon the date of award and will extend for a period of 365 days, with options for renewal upon mutual agreement between the agency and the vendor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the State of West Virginia where card access systems are installed.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be licensed and in good standing with all applicable state and local laws. They must provide proof of insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence) and Automobile Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence). Additionally, vendors must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding labor standards.
