Potomac State College - Maintenance Building Roof Replacement

Background
West Virginia University, on behalf of its Board of Governors, is initiating this Request for Bids (RFB) for the Maintenance Building Roof Replacement at Potomac State College located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The goal of this contract is to engage qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors to provide the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the project.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal of existing roof-related materials and systems at the Maintenance Building. They will also provide new replacement materials and systems. This includes all necessary labor and equipment to complete the project as specified in the provided documents.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to achieve Substantial Completion within thirty (30) days after work commences. Final Completion is expected within thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion. The timeline will begin upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed by West Virginia University.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Maintenance Building on the Potomac State College Campus in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be qualified, experienced, and licensed. Required documentation such as a bid bond and drug-free affidavit must be submitted with the response. Additionally, contractors are required to comply with WVU's EH&S Contractor Safety Program.
