Background
The Southern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility in Beaver, West Virginia, is issuing a solicitation for the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System Project. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing a Hybrid Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (HPIDS) which includes:

1. Installation of Defensor sensor cable in a double run configuration along all intersecting fences or existing fence zones.
2. Installation of new sensor coils and dual technology IR/MW sensors at specified locations.
3. Routing feeder cables optimally to the control room, ensuring minimal nuisance alarms by reworking locking mechanisms and gates as required.
4. Adding mini mesh and chain link fabric to gates for enhanced security.
5. Installation of rails and transoms above gates to support sensor coils.
6. Ensuring all components are installed on the inside of the existing perimeter security fence, with specific attention to overlapping sensor cables at corners and ends of zones.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by March 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Southern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility located at 1200 Airport Road, Beaver, WV 25813.
