Background
The Building 74 Renovations Project is initiated by the relevant government agency to enhance the functionality and safety of the facility. The goal is to complete renovations that include various construction and installation tasks, particularly focusing on fire protection and plumbing systems. This project aims to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations while improving the overall infrastructure of Building 74.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a comprehensive range of construction activities, including:
1. Installation of a complete wet-pipe fire protection sprinkler system, including all necessary components such as piping, valves, sprinkler heads, alarm systems, and control wiring.
2. Compliance with NFPA 13 requirements for fire protection systems, ensuring that all areas are adequately protected according to occupancy hazard classifications.
3. Coordination with existing plumbing systems as outlined in Section 220100 - General Provisions for Plumbing, which includes installation of utility meters and tap fees.
4. All work must adhere to the West Virginia State Building Code, International Plumbing Code, NFPA standards, and other applicable regulations.
