Vendor Service Contract for Handheld Natus Algo Pro Newborn Hearing Screening Device, Parts, Training & Maintenance

Background
The City of Milwaukee's Department of Administration – Purchasing Division is issuing this solicitation for a Vendor Service Contract for the Handheld Natus Algo Pro Newborn Hearing Screening Device. The contract aims to provide essential services, including parts, training, and maintenance for the device over a period of four years, with options to extend for three additional years upon mutual agreement. This initiative supports the health department's mission to ensure proper newborn hearing screenings.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following products and services:
1. One Handheld Natus Algo Pro Newborn Screening Device with features including touchscreen, wireless charging, combined automated ABR/OAE testing, binaural simultaneous AABR testing option, data management software, and a minimum 24-month warranty (no substitutions).

2. 100 Infant Eartips in various sizes.

3. 100 Infant Ear Cups in various sizes.

4. 100 Snap Electrodes.

5. 100 Infant Ear Cup Hydrogel.

6. In-service training on functional use and care of the unit, including setup and configuration as well as download of data management software for data transfer/printing (1 session).

7. Annual calibration of the device (1 session).

8. Annual software upgrade maintenance fees (if applicable).

9. Optional: Recommended annual service plan or post-warranty maintenance service fees as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of four years from the date of award, with three one-year options to extend based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services and delivery of products will be conducted at the City of Milwaukee Health Department located at Southside Health Center, 1639 S. 23rd St., Milwaukee, WI 53204.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including naming the City of Milwaukee as an additional insured and providing coverage for worker's compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, and automobile liability with specified minimum coverage amounts. Bidders are also encouraged to utilize Small Business Enterprises (SBE) but are not mandated to do so.
