Dane County is seeking proposals for unarmed security guard and parking staff services at the Alliant Energy Center (AEC) in Madison, WI. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for staffing, managing, and operating unarmed security and parking services at various venues within the AEC campus, including the Exhibition Hall, Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Pavilion 1 & 2, Arena Building, and surrounding outdoor areas. Key positions include:
1. Account Manager
2. Event Manager
3. Unarmed Security Supervisor
4. Parking Attendant Supervisor
5. Unarmed Security Guard
6. Event Staff/Guest Services Worker (ushers, ticket takers)
7. Traffic Control Attendant
8. Parking Control Attendant.
The contractor must provide written job descriptions for each position and draft policies and procedures for service delivery. Staff must be trained in customer service and adhere to professional conduct standards. All personnel must be licensed according to Wisconsin regulations, undergo background checks, and maintain a neat appearance suitable for public settings.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 15, 2026, with an initial term of one year ending on July 14, 2027. There are options for up to five additional one-year renewals based on performance and funding availability.
