Online Electrochemical Mass Spectrometer

Background
The University of Wisconsin-Madison, through its Purchasing Services Department, is seeking bids for the purchase of a benchtop or mobile online electrochemical mass spectrometer system. This procurement is on behalf of the UW Madison Mechanical Engineering Department, aiming to enhance their research capabilities in electrochemical experiments.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of the following items:

1. System for online gas analysis - A benchtop or mobile system designed for online gas analysis during electrochemical experiments (Quantity: 1).

2. Delivery and Installation - FOB Destination Installed, including insurance coverage for the shipment (Quantity: 1).

3. In-Person On-Site Training - Training for staff on how to operate the system (Quantity: 1).

4. OPTIONAL: Upgrade for corrosive gases - Cost to upgrade the system to handle corrosive gases (Quantity: 1).

5. OPTIONAL: Additional Sampling Lines with Different Flow Rate - Cost to upgrade the system for an additional sampling line with a different sample flow rate (Quantity: 1).

6. OPTIONAL: Upgrade to Perform Differential Electrochemical Mass Spectrometry - Cost to upgrade the system to perform differential electrochemical mass spectrometry (DEMS) on aqueous cells (Quantity: 1).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled by June 5, 2025.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place at the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have an online profile with JAGGAER to submit a bid. They are required to provide a client list of three firms that received similar items/services in the past three years and must indicate if they are a Wisconsin certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Work Center (WC), Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (DVB), or Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not debarred from doing business with federal agencies.
