Kenosha County Brookside Care Center Kitchen Flooring Project

Background
The County of Kenosha, Wisconsin, through its Purchasing Division, is seeking bids for the replacement of flooring in the kitchen of the Brookside Care Center located at 3506 Washington Road, Kenosha, WI 53144. This project aims to enhance the facility's operational efficiency and safety by updating its kitchen flooring.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials necessary to complete the flooring replacement in the Brookside Care Center kitchen. The scope includes:

- Base Bid: Replacement of existing resilient flooring with new materials as specified.
- Alternate #1: Polished concrete floor finish in the kitchen and dishwashing area, including all necessary prep work.
- Alternate #2: Tile finish in the existing kitchen and dishwashing area, including all necessary prep work.
- Alternate #3: Painting of existing walls and ceilings in the kitchen and dishwashing area, including all cleaning and prep required for a new paint finish.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence immediately upon award and will continue until project completion. The estimated timeline for bid submission is by 1:00 PM on August 27, 2025, with an anticipated award date of September 3, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Brookside Care Center located at 3506 Washington Road, Kenosha, WI 53144.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized distributors/dealers capable of selling and installing their products. They must provide references from three firms where similar services have been provided within the last five years. Additionally, bidders must complete a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire to demonstrate legal authority to conduct business in Wisconsin.
