Installation of Vinyl Siding and Soffit Fascia

Background
The City of Madison Community Development Authority is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for the installation of Vinyl Siding and Soffit Fascia on four units. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids submitted, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities or technicalities which at the City’s discretion are determined to be in the best interests of the City.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the installation of new Tyvek House wrap, tape vapor barrier seams, steel starter, vinyl j blocks, j channel, under sill trim, .044 vinyl siding D4, z metal flashing, caulking, removal of faux beams and wooden aesthetic features, alum f channel, alum center vent soffit, 8" alum smooth fascia, K style seamless 5" aluminum gutters with hidden hangers, and 3x4 aluminum downspouts.
The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for the project. A site visit is required prior to submitting a bid to ensure understanding of all project requirements. The contractor will also be responsible for furnishing and posting all licenses, permits and inspections required by state and local laws.

Period of Performance
The due date for submitting bids is Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 at 2:00 PM CST. The successful bidder shall furnish usage reports annually summarizing the ordering history for each department served during the previous contract year.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at four locations: 2402 Catalpa Rd, 2406 Catalpa Rd, 2410 Catalpa Rd, and 1005 Sequoia Trail in Madison, WI.
