Background
The City of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive managed information technology (IT) services to support City operations. The goal of this contract is to maintain and enhance the City’s IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity posture through a three-year agreement.
Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing turnkey IT management and support for the City, which includes:
- Network systems administration including design, configuration, management, monitoring, repair and support of firewall, switching, and wireless systems.
- Maintenance on all servers and backend infrastructure systems.
- Oversight of backup and recovery processes as well as cybersecurity tools/protections for all workstations and servers.
- Support and deployment of City-owned devices and peripheral hardware.
- Creation and maintenance of accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure.
- Onsite and virtual end-user tech support across all City locations with a work order/trouble ticket system.
- A staffed remote helpdesk support team available from 7 AM – 5 PM Monday to Friday with after-hours emergency support.
- Cyber Protection Services for all servers (4 servers) including 24x7 SOC monitoring, EDR tools, MDR tools, Zero Trust tools; as well as similar protections for approximately 40 workstations.
- Monthly cyber training for staff with simulated phishing assessments.
- Licensing requirements including MS Teams with Audio Conferencing, Office 365 G3 licenses, email backup and archiving solutions.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon execution and will run for three years with potential annual renewals subject to satisfactory negotiation.

Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
