Background
The City of Madison, through the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, is seeking a full-service advertising agency to enhance its marketing efforts.
The goal is to promote the Monona Terrace as a premier destination for conferences, conventions, weddings, and other events.
This initiative aligns with the City’s mission to provide high-quality services for the common good of residents and visitors.
The contract will run through the end of 2025 with options for three one-year renewals.

Work Details
The selected agency will be responsible for:
- Researching and evaluating Monona Terrace's marketing efforts and target markets to develop a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Creating strategic and creative brand advertising for both print and digital platforms, including print ads, digital banners, broadcast and social media assets, and sales materials.
- Collaborating on media placement strategies and consulting on digital marketing assets such as the website and social media accounts.
- Writing, editing, and reformatting advertisements.
- Developing an annual 10 to 12 month print and digital media schedule.
- Reporting monthly/quarterly on brand performance and marketing campaigns.
- Maintaining regular communication with Monona Terrace staff and attending occasional on-site meetings.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to commence on or around January 1, 2025, and will be effective through December 31, 2026, with three optional one-year extensions available.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center located in Madison, Wisconsin.
