Elevator Inspections, Maintenance & Repairs

Scope of Work:
Milwaukee Transport Services, Inc. (MTS), operator of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS), is seeking informal bids for the following services:

• Quarterly maintenance of five (5) hydraulic elevators
• Quarterly inspections of these elevators
• Repairs on an as-needed basis

These elevators are located at four (4) different Milwaukee County properties, all maintained by MTS.

Soliciting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by Milwaukee Transport Services, Inc. (MTS), the operator of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS).

Background:
MTS is responsible for the maintenance and operation of several Milwaukee County properties, including the management of hydraulic elevators at four locations. This contract will ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of these elevators through regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Contract Requirements:
The successful bidder will be required to:

• Perform quarterly maintenance and inspections on five hydraulic elevators
• Provide repair services as needed
• Service all elevators located at the specified four Milwaukee County properties

Submission Instructions:

• A pre-bid walkthrough will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 9:00 am CT. This walkthrough will cover all four locations where the elevators are installed. Interested offerors should meet at the Fond du Lac Garage, 2932 N 35th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53210. The walkthrough will be conducted with Building & Grounds department leadership and the Bid Administrator, providing an opportunity to view the elevators and ask questions.
• Questions regarding the solicitation are due by March 13, 2026.
• Intent to Bid must be submitted by March 16, 2026.
