Dunn 2 Replacement Pump Purchase

Background
The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) is seeking bids for the Dunn 2 Replacement Pump Purchase. The agency's mission includes maintaining and improving the sewerage system to ensure effective wastewater management. The goal of this contract is to procure a replacement pump that meets specific operational requirements, thereby enhancing the reliability of the district's infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of a new Direct Drop-In Replacement Deming model 7196 Vertical Pump or an approved equal. Specifications include:

- Direct drop-in replacement 4"x4"x12" pump
- Non-clog impeller
- Left hand rotation – discharge Position #8
- Double mechanical seal with 416 stainless steel sleeve
- 6"x4" long inlet elbow with cleanout access
- Cleanout access on volute and discharge elbow
- Suction Cover with 316SS wear rings
- Impeller with 316SS wear rings
- 1-year warranty
- Design flow: 500 gpm
- Design TDH: 43 feet

Note: Existing 1150 rpm motor and coupling are to be reused. Bidders must provide a lump sum bid and guarantee delivery within specified timeframes. All bids must comply with outlined qualifications and requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within a timeframe that allows for delivery of the pump within 20 weeks of award. Bids are due by 11 a.m., CST, Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District office located at 1610 Moorland Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53713.
