Cloud-Based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software/System Proposal Request

Background
Dunn County, located in west-central Wisconsin, is seeking proposals for a new countywide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software/system. The goal is to implement a cloud-based/SaaS solution that will enhance the county's operational efficiency and support various departmental needs.

The current ERP system, SAP, has been found to be non-intuitive and complex for users, leading to inefficiencies. The county aims to replace this system with one that improves integration, reporting capabilities, and overall business processes while also providing training and ongoing support.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive ERP solution that includes:
- Implementation of a cloud-based ERP system tailored to Dunn County's needs.
- Training for all users on the new system.
- Ongoing service and support post-implementation.
- Data conversion and migration services, with specifics to be determined directly with the selected vendor.

The project scope encompasses functionalities in Financial Management (e.g., accounting, budgeting, procurement) and Human Capital Management (e.g., recruiting, payroll). The proposal must address integration capabilities with existing systems and provide detailed descriptions of software features and functionality as outlined in the RFP Requirements Workbook.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence no later than January 15, 2025, following the selection process which includes proposal submissions due by October 1, 2024. Implementation will begin shortly thereafter.

Place of Performance
The contract work will primarily take place at Dunn County Government Center located in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
