Background
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking to enhance interagency coordination to address mobility challenges across regional transportation systems. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among WSDOT teams and partner agencies while ensuring organized communication and relationship management.
The goal of this contract is to provide consulting services for communication coordination and support, which includes project management, strategic planning, public involvement, and expertise in digital communication tools.
Work Details
The contractor will provide consulting services that include:
1. Project management support for major projects;
2. Strategic planning and coordination;
3. Communication planning and public involvement efforts;
4. Development of creative concepts and communication production techniques;
5. Expertise in digital communication tools;
6. Management of contact lists;
7. Coordination of meetings and presentations.
The contractor must meet or exceed the mandatory minimum specifications outlined in Exhibit F - Scope of Work.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and will last for a period of twenty-four (24) months, ending on June 30, 2028. There is a possibility for extension based on satisfactory performance.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the state of Washington as required by WSDOT.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Washington State's procurement requirements, including certifications as a Washington Small Business or Certified Veteran-Owned Business if applicable. Bidders are required to submit a completed Bidder’s Certification (Exhibit A-1), Client References (Exhibit A-2), Scored Non-Cost Factors (Exhibit B), and Bid Price (Exhibit C).
Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Washington Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) to participate.
