Background
The City of Spokane Facilities Department, in partnership with the Water Department, is soliciting bids for Phase 2 of the renovation at the Water Department Main Office located at 914 E North Foothills Dr, Spokane, WA 99207.
This project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the existing administration building as part of a broader initiative to improve municipal facilities.
Work Details
The project consists of renovations and an addition to the existing Administration Building on the City of Spokane Water Department Campus. This phase includes:
- Complete removal of an existing structure, removal of most interior partitions, ceiling, flooring, and finishes as indicated in the drawings.
- Mechanical work involving demolition of limited existing mechanical systems and an extension/expansion of the Phase 1 VRF system to include new fan coils, refrigerant piping, controls, and indoor water-cooled condensing units.
- Plumbing and fire protection systems will be extended to all new Phase 2 plumbing fixtures and spaces.
- Electrical work includes demolition of existing electrical devices in the Phase 2 wing, installation of new power devices for office space, new lighting fixtures and controls, telecommunications, security systems, fire alarm devices, and EV charging stations.
Period of Performance
The contractor agrees to start work within ten (10) days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and aims for substantial completion by December 31, 2027.
